The Music Department at Legacy Christian Academy (LCA) is commited to helping students achieve excellence in music by having a Godly perspective and practicing biblical truths. We believe that music is not only designed for our enjoyment, but more importantly, can be used as one of the most effective tools for communicating God's love, and inspiring all to seek a personal relationship with Him.

All students are expected to contribute to each performing group by being commited to excellence. Students are required to practice and are encouraged to take individual lessons, participate in contests, and be proactive in seeking additional opportunities to perform.

The Music Department at LCA has a history of achieving Superior and Excellent ratings for Large Group Contests and Festivals at both the Junor High and High School levels. Students from the Upper Elementary level through the High School have had tremendous success. Many have earned such recognition as MSHSL All-State membership, ACDA and MBDA regional and state representation, Honors Choir and Honors Band participation, and State and Regional solo/ensemble performance.

The Music Department at LCA is one of the strengths of our school. The classes are co-curricular in nature and provide opportunities for students to grow in their faith, to use their God-given talents, to help build up and encourage our community, and to contibute positively to the overall spirit and environment of our dynamic school.
