Legacy Christian Academy's elementary program has gained a strong reputation as an outstanding Christian educational foundation by providing a warm and friendly environment where students are challenged in academic excellence, Christian character development, and spiritual growth.
Elementary students at LCA learn the core disciplines using primarily the Biblically-based and academically rigorous Abeka curriculum for mathematics, social studies, science, language arts, and Bible. In addition, the students are inspired to explore and excel in art, music, physical education, library, and computer classes. Band and honors choir programs are offered in 5th and 6th grades.
This exceptional and well-rounded academic program is enriched throughout the year with various curriculum-related small group activities, projects, guest speakers, field trips, and extra-curricular programs. These opportunities enable LCA elementary teachers to develop and enhance community, collaboration, and critical thinking, along with individual study skills and Christian character training; all taught within the traditional classroom format.
